Why a local agent who speaks your language
The hard part of buying in Spain is rarely finding the home. The hard part is everything around it.
English or Swedish, all the way
From the first viewing to the keys in your hand. No misunderstandings in a contract you cannot read.
The paperworkNIE, taxes and notary
We explain what is required, in what order and what it costs — before you commit to anything.
LocalWe live in Fuengirola
From Fuengirola and Mijas to Marbella. We know the neighbourhoods, not just the listings.
You do not have to search alone
Trawling Spanish property portals is a waste of your time — and it is where most mistakes begin.
Send us a search brief instead: what you are looking for, roughly what you can spend and when you want to be here. We search the whole market — not just our own listings — and come back when we have found something that actually fits.
Before you see a property we have already checked what usually breaks a deal: the community’s finances, unregistered extensions, debts that follow the home.
It costs you nothing. In Spain the agent’s fee is normally paid by the seller. You commit to nothing, and we will not call you forever.
Who you will be talking to
No switchboard, no sales department. The same person all the way.
Your contact
Swedish-speaking agent on the Costa del Sol
Based in Fuengirola · replies in English or Swedish, normally within a day
Your agent is Swedish, lives in Fuengirola and works on the Costa del Sol — and has been through the Spanish paperwork personally: NIE, bank account, notary, tax. That is how we know where it usually goes wrong for someone arriving from abroad.
Write, call or message us on WhatsApp. Replies in English or Swedish, normally within a day.

Frequently asked questions
Can I do the whole purchase in English?
Yes. You deal with us in English (or Swedish) from first contact to the keys. We translate and explain everything that happens in Spanish — contract, notary, registry and taxes — so you know exactly what you are signing.
What does it cost on top of the price?
Budget for purchase costs on top of the price: transfer tax (ITP) on a resale, or VAT (IVA) plus stamp duty (AJD) on a new build. Then notary, registration and a lawyer if you want the deal checked. We go through a detailed calculation for your property before you make an offer.
Do I need an NIE number before I buy?
Yes. The NIE is your Spanish tax identification number and is required to sign the purchase, open a bank account and pay tax. We help you get it.
Do I have to move to Spain to buy?
No. You can own a home in Spain and remain resident elsewhere. Different tax rules then apply — including the annual non-resident return, Modelo 210 — which we explain before you buy.
